QS Series is a quarter-turn worm gearbox which is mainly used in ball, butterfly and plug valves. The QS series is the optimum choice for process control and adjustment in various applications such as power, oil & gas, metallurgy and industrial applications. The QS series gearboxes can be manual or motorised, and are available in various sizes and ratios.
Based on customers application concept, QS series gearboxes are designed as a 90o worm gear reduction box with curved external shape which generates a perfect appearance with assembled products. The spray coating on the surface of gearbox totally meets the requirement of industrial product level and environmental protection. The interior turning parts such as worm, worm gear, and bearings are covered with effective and environmental-friendly lubricating grease which enhances the mechanical efficiency of products. Mechanical stop could be customised; the output shaft could be flexibly disassembled; in other words, these customised parts provide convenience in manufacturing those connecting dimensions between valves and actuators. The input indicator could clearly show the 'open' or 'close' condition of the linked valve which makes it easier for users to check the operation status of products. There is no necessity to conduct special manufacturing on controlling valve from open to close; the input and output of connecting flange obey the standard of ISO5210. The rated output torque of QS Series gearboxes range from 300 NM to 600,000NM which have been allocated into 11 types; and each type has been customised into various transmission ratio and different kinds of connecting style and dimensions which could match with various dimensions of control units. |
